The Brent Lamb Podcast
A weekly show of real life conversations with singer/songwriter Brent Lamb cohosted by his daughter Haley. Listen in as they discuss faith, family, music, and the ups and downs of life!
Brent's life today is a reflection of the basic values he learned as a child. The first of three children, he was born February 22, 1960 in Nashville, TN. "Every Sunday we'd go to church, then go to my grandparent's house for dinner. We'd sit around and sing," he recalls. "From an early age I was always intrigued with instruments. Pianos, guitars, banjos, mandolins, but the thing that got me the most was how everyone would be singing their own harmony part, yet they'd weave it all together into this awesome sound.

Update from Brent's Desk

By Brent Lamb on Tue, 02/15/2022 - 01:08

Hey folks. It's been a couple of years since I wrote and/or updated our news. 2020 started out normal. I flew out to Belize for my church's construction mission trip. It's a seven day trip where we work and build buildings, houses, or other small building from the ground up in five days. We usually take around 40 guys and get a lot done in that week. As we started work on that Monday, some of the guys started complaining about having problems breathing, not feeling well. By Wednesday, 8 or 9 men were in the bed running high fevers, chills, and feeling like they had the flu.

Brent Lamb has mastered the art of story telling. Through his songs he allows us to feel and understand textures and depths of life we might otherwise miss. He sings with a sacramental vision that reveals the presence of God, not to be missed, in the every day life where each of us lives.
